Our Principal has worked as a member of the NAAC Peer Committee and has served as Resource Person in seminars organized by Staff Academic College, Gujarat University to spread awareness about NAAC accreditation and assessment process among its affiliated colleges. He is also in the Executive Committees of various University Bodies.
He has worked as a member of the Committee appointed by the Gujarat Government for the pay revision and accommodation of Part-time teachers as Full-time teachers in Colleges. He has worked as a Resource Person in the various camps organized by the Gujarat Government to facilitate the process of pay fixations of the Principals and Teachers of rural colleges as per the guidelines of the Rastogi Commission.
Rural Colleges in the area seek our guidance for NAAC accreditation, UGC grants, and issues related to Gujarat Affiliated Colleges Service Tribunal, Gujarat University and Government of Gujarat Higher Education.
One of our senior teachers in the Gujarati Department has worked as a consultant in the Gujarati Bhasha Samiti constituted by K K Birla Foundation, New Delhi to decide on the award of Saraswati Samman in regional languages.
One of our teachers in the Economics Department has been appointed by the Gujarat Government as a consultant for evaluation of Rural Development Schemes in Bhavnagar District. He has also been appointed as a consultant to Baba Saheb Ambedkar Open University and is involved in preparation of Course Material.
Besides, members of the teaching faculty offer their services as resource persons, experts and consultants in various academic bodies. They are invited by University Departments to deliver lectures or share their research work with students.
The schools in our neighborhood have benefited from us. Our teachers have been invited to offer their services and expertise to our sister organizations in the area. Some of our teachers are also working as service providers to various social organizations in the area.
We have a highly committed staff. They provide their services without expecting any reward or remuneration. However, the college takes note of their work and appreciates their capacities. It allows them Duty Leave for their consultation work.
